En la edición 2021 de Ideatoon se inscribieron un total de 218 proyectos provenientes de 13 países distintos. Aunque las bases de Ideatoon 2021 establecían la selección de 20 proyectos para participar en el Bootcamp, por la cantidad y calidad de participantes se tomó la decisión de seleccionar un total de 26 proyectos.

Debido a las características de la edición Online del Bootcamp 2021. en esta ocasión contaremos con la participación de 17 personalidades de la industria internacional como mentores, conferencistas o jurado.

Joan Lofts served as Director of Television at Contender Entertainment Group and was responsible for developing and overseeing the television production division. Recent animated hits that were shepherded by Joan include Tractor Tom, Peppa Pig, Humf, Little Kingdom and Channel 4 special Lost and Found. She started her career in television production with ITN and spent 12 years working for ITN and Thames TV. Then took a different career path to become a social worker for 10 years before returning to television at ITV and then moving to the BBC as Deputy Head of Acquisitions and Development for CBBC.

Ken Faier is El Presidente and CEO of Epic Story Media. The mission for both companies is to put creators at the center of compelling and engaging franchises for kids.
Previously, Ken served as SVP and GM and then SVP and Executive producer for DHX Media after DHX acquired Nerd Corps Entertainment, where Ken served as El Presidente for 10 years. He was instrumental in building the company into a world-renowned studio with each of its original properties sold to over 150+ territories.

Chris leads the internal and external animation development and production team for Nickelodeon International. In addition to executive responsibility of key titles, Chris identifies, develops and secures partners for new IP, and oversees the international component of the shorts initiative, Nickelodeon’s Intergalactic Shorts.
Chris Rose is an accomplished broadcast professional and content producer with 20 years experience in television acquisitions, commissioning, development and production in the UK and Australia.

Silvina is Director of Animation and New Technologies at INCAA.
Previously she was the coordinator of the Animation industry section on the Latin American Film Market Ventana Sur, where the call for projects is made in alliance with the MIFA market of the Annecy Festival. Silvina has worked as an animation producer for more than 15 years. She has developed and produced adds, tv shows and independent short films with directors such as Juan Pablo Zaramella and Santiago Bou.

Paco Rodríguez founded PPM Multimedia in 1990, where he spent 10 years working in international distribution, financing co-productions and in the executive production of several animated series such as Koki, Capelito, Caracolimpicos.
He was executive producer of seven feature films that gave him four Goyas for El Cid the Legend, Pinocchio 3000, Nocturna, Perez the little mouse of dreams I and II, with FILMAX ANIMATION .
He currently directs MEDIA TRAINING & CONSULTING.

Based in Mexico City, Jaime Jiménez Rión is in charge of the programming and content strategy across all children WarnerMedia’s platforms, which includes the Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast signals. In addition, he is responsible for representing such channels in Mexico and Colombia, as well as local productions, and strategic alliances.

Telidja Klaï, PHD in Clinical and Developmental Child Psychology. In 2009 she joined Ketnet, the dedicated children’s channel of the public broadcaster VRT in Belgium.
Telidja is responsible for program acquisitions and coproductions animation. Furthermore, the main thrust of her activities is the development of children and Ketnet’s vision and values and programming strategies.

Mariana started on children's television in Bizbirije as a researcher, then in Once Niños for many years as programming, executive production, content development, acquisitions and On air promotions.
In 2010 she founded Nao kids, a media company focused on kids’ production and consulting, where she produced shows and digital projects for kids.
Now she works in programming and production for Discovery Kids Mexico.

Director, animator and illustrator born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 2013 Pedro sold his first animated TV series Oswaldo (Birdo Studios) to Cartoon Network. He also co-directed and co-wrote the first season of the show. One year later, he and Canadian buddy Graham Peterson were the finalists in the Nick Shorts program with their pitch Monster Pack. Then Pedro created Cupcake & Dino: General Services, (Birdo Studio / eOne Family). where he acts as the show’s director and one of its executive producers, Pedro is currently based in Vancouver.

Kim Wilson is the Director of OneFish TwoFish Consulting, Head of Scripted Edutainment for Titan1 Studios, Co-Founder of the Children’s Media Lab and a passionate Children’s Media industry veteran. In her over 25 career in public television, she has focused on impactful and empowering children’s content. In senior leadership roles at TVOntario and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, she’s had an unwavering drive to develop high-quality original television and digital content that entertains and educates kids from preschool to tween.
